Bethpage Black

So who is the favorite to take home the title at Bethpage Black this week in the New York area? Many think that Tiger Woods is the man to beat coming off a great win at Jacks Tournament in Columbus, Ohio two weeks ago. He said his swing has never been better and he is attack the flags with his favorable positioning in the fairway. Has he finally go the driver back on pace and now instead of hitting what seems like an impossible shot and making it look easy, now he can take advantage and really score. The other tour players have to be worried. We all know who the locals will want, and thats Phil Mickelson. Whether it be was because the unbelieveable support he received back in 2002 when they were pushing his charge to chase Tiger that came up just short. Or because now all the troubles he and Amy are facing with her new news of breast cancer that is causing him to miss even a more significant amount of time after she goes under treatment. Either one they will be back and bigger than ever, even in this poor economy. Others like Cabrera, Ogilvy, Clark, Gay, and Steve Stricker have a shot at challenge these two competitors but in our opinion we like Tiger to again win at Bethpage Black and win his second there in as many tries.
